The Two Oceans Aquarium is a great adventure for kids and us adults alike

If you're looking for places in South Africa to have a good time, the Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town is definitely one of them.

seal shaking hands, two oceans aquarium, places in south africa Our kids absolutely love it here. There is a massive tank full of Clown Fish as you come in which get all the kids shouting "Nemo! We found Nemo!"

There is a wonderful variety of marine life to view in the winding passages. You'll even find some Spider Crabs which look like giant crayfish.

In the centre of the aquarium is a massive tank filled with many fish, including some ragged tooth sharks. These sharks are part of a volunteer group that nurture the sharks back into the oceans.

They also have a massive Kelp Forest Exhibit with the tide making the Kelp move. (If I stare at this for a while I start swaying from side to side)

You'll find the Aquarium at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. It's next to the "Red Shed" market and there's great parking near by. Take a look at their official website.
